Master of Arts "Political Science"

From the winter semester 2024/25, our institute will be offering a newly designed four-semester Master's degree course in Political Science. The Master's degree program in Political Science can be started at our institute in both the summer and winter semesters and lasts four semesters.

• Small courses (mainly seminars and colloquia).
• Guided independent research with a choice of methodological approaches.
• Many opportunities for specialization within political science and in interdisciplinary work.
• Broad training by teaching the latest research in the fields of political theory and the history of ideas, comparative political science, the political system of the Federal Republic of Germany and International Relations.
• A practice module and the opportunity for one or two semesters of study abroad.
